Ion exchange filter modules of GC series are designed for filtration of air from gas components emitted during welding or metal thermal cutting applications, paint works, galvanic treatment and others.
GC filter module must be connected to the extraction ventilation system with appropriate design and capacity. Ion exchange filter modules must be installed as a last filtration stage in extraction ventilation system after the SovPlym fine filtered units.

Restrictions
Cannot be used for filtration of any kind of dust.

Design and Construction
Filter body is manufactured from steel plates and powder painted by qualitative paint, which provides for high body resistance against environment.
Front and rear parts of the module are flanges with 9×15 mm oval openings around the perimeter, to get connected to rectangular airducts or to joint to round air ducts. Required joint is ordered separately.
Filter is equipped with a frame with height-adjustable mount for installation on the floor.
Access to filter elements is provided through a door, which can be located on left or right side of the filter. Maintenance works are visual inspection and integrity check of filter and cartridge once in a month.
Filter is supplier with IEC-3 cartridges partially assembled.
